Jenny Cruz is one of the most enthusiastic, creative, caring teachers you’ll ever meet! It is clear to see that she puts her heart and soul into every lesson and project she’s involved with at the school. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her for the past three years. Every season, the hallways were flooded with new outstanding projects. She single-handedly organized the Art Fair every year, that consisted of incredible innovative artwork. Not only did my third graders adore her, but every student in the school loved her and would frequently rave about her being their favorite teacher. Every time we had Art class, excitedly, they would run to hug her and eagerly get started on their next productive assignment. Mrs. Cruz was not only able to provide students with the knowledge for them to develop their artistic skills, but offer them emotional support throughout the year. Her optimistic attitude is so refreshing for the faculty included, as she’s approachable, a great team player, and always offered to lend a hand. On more than one occasion, Mrs. Cruz made and designed stylish T-shirts for the teachers to wear to school events. One of the most admirable things about Mrs. Cruz is her consistent determination to make the school a better place for our students. It’s been a fortunate experience to work with Mrs. Cruz, and I guarantee that any school community would feel the same.
